IMS began operations in March, 1984 by utilizing the most
modern methods available to provide high-quality cassettes for
the educational, motivational and instructional markets. Since
that time, IMS's success has demanded the expansion of its
physical facilities on three occasions. During these formative
transitions, IMS answered market demand by meeting or
exceeding current industry standards, which necessarily
included the addition of real-time and high-speed video
duplication.
Clean-room video loading and duplication were added when
operations began at the new facility in 1997, and a modern
pick-and-pack media manufacturing facility emerged shortly
thereafter. Later, IMS expanded boldly into the CD and DVD
markets by employing optical media replication and packaging
systems. While cutting-edge technology has been key in the
IMS story, the robust leadership of its management and
careful staffing choices has been equally responsible
for IMS's global emergence as a leading choice for quality
media manufacturing and shelf-ready retail packaging and
distribution of media products.
